I think their reactions are just hard to see. I'd wager a guess it was the freeze response. Notice those in the back beat feet pretty quickly once the pastor pounced.

Only to get Nashville hot chicken in occasion. Seems like the sort of place where you'd be more likely to see the business end of a handgun.

I'd be neutral and just say "urban", but you're right.

And Prince's Hot Chicken moved, so I don't get to that area anymore. Now East Nashville, I do get there more, but man, oh man, has that area got gentrified with hipsters. I sure hope Nashville Biscuit House doesn't change.

I really wanted to try Prince's Hot Chicken until I found out their chicken is breaded. That's a deal breaker for me.

I'm sure being on the business end of a gun is nothing new in that area.
It seems like they may have been distracting him until someone (like the pastor) acted from behind.
Good awareness and timing on his part.

The pastor did a real slick job of seeing an opportunity and then sneaking around back and taking him from behind so he wasn't facing a gun! Fortunately, no one got shot!
