I just picked this up to replace a similar ZT that I lost in the woods. From now on, I'm going to carry my woods knife in a Maxpedition sheath, and not in a pocket, secured by a clip !
But,, I like this one better, as it's better blade steel (S35VN), and has a carbon fiber scale.
Zero Tolerance Hinderer 0566CF Assisted Opening Knife
Yes, it was Elmax steel. And supposedly, ZT had some heat-treating issues with it.....but who knows ?Nice! Was your original Elmax?
Also, when you're in the woods or near the water, it might be worth considering tethering your knife to you (belt, belt loop, etc), whether you carry in pocket or in a sheath. An arm's length piece of para cord connecting your knife and your belt can be tucked in your pocket or under your belt when you're not using the knife and will prevent accidental loss!
Thanks !I use deep carry pocket clips on all my Hinderer knives. Here is one for a ZT0566.
How much reward ?I lost my Spyderco Delica Wave. Blue with a stainless blade. Reward for finding it!
Got it Monday from Dawson
Less than what it would take to buy a used one in similar condition. LOLHow much reward ?

I was at a gun show in Muncie selling raffle tickets on a Marlin 1895 for my VFW last weekend when a guy cam around with a tackle box full of knives. Sure enough I found a couple of oldies I felt I needed... Now to get them off to Rob to be sharpened next time I'm down in Indy for a VA appointment.
