Thick skin, it used to be a thing.... not so much anymore.
Don't you think getting called Nazi, getting mob-shamed, losing jobs, getting punched, having hot or cold drinks thrown at you, getting physically harassed in public, goes a little beyond using skin as a shield? What I don't want to see happen is when the other side starts fighting back just as physically as they're attacked. Is that what we want? Someone throws a drink in your face because you wear an Obama hat, are you turning the other cheek?
You lean left. Don't you see it at least a little of your responsibility to rein in the crazies on your side, like Antifa, BAMN, and radical groups, just as you expect people on the right to reign in their crazies, like white nationalists, Neo-Nazis, etcetera. This isn't about thickness of skin. Public discourse has gone beyond just name-calling.
