Someone should closely hold Feinstein. She looks lonely.
If anything would deserve confidentiality, it would be that.

Keep it as confidential as Ford's original letter.
I think it’s obvious to all of us....and should be obvious to anyone who cares about trying to be fair just a little bit, that the moment the Democrats stopped talking about the allegations and started talking about demeanor and alcohol, not even they believed the allegations. But it goes back well before that.
Those who are still talking about the allegation have the “job interview” talking points where they deny that it’s important whether he did it or not, now its “we just feel that it’s too important a position to give to someone who has had these questions raise.” Again, that’s code for “we don’t believe her either, but we still want to 86 Kavanaugh.”
Even those who who may have initial believed her ecause they have a preexisting bias that this is what men do, are now well aware that the FBI investigation they called for will find NO corroboration AT BEST. Likely, it will show deception. Therefore, they don’t want the investigation public.
Finally, the lie detector test. Why haven’t the Dems made more of that? Because the people they have talked to who know these tests know how easy it is to game them- especially when you have the subject write out a statement while not being tested and the subject is told hat the questions will be before they are asked and only after that, is hooked up to the machine. The exam in this case was designed from the beginning to allo her to pass. If you read the interview with the polygraph examiner, he comes close to saying that. (“We don’t normally polygraph victims, we believe them unless there is a reason not to.” “We want to ask as few questions as possible so that it does not traumatize the victim.”)
So the real reason why Feinstein sat on the letter for 45 days? She and everyone she showed it to KNEW it would not stand up to scrutiny, so they sought to use it to tank the nomination at the last minute in the hearing when, hopefully, it would create doubt, but never be investigated. Exploring the truth of the statement was not at all their objective because they already knew where that would lead.
In sum, what they are NOT saying is way more telling than what the are saying.
He is an old white guy so...Why do you hate women?

Kavanaugh didn't actually do anything wrong but he talked mean to people accusing him of rape so he is unfit. Gotcha Joe.Joe Donnelly has updated his stance. This is from his aide. Looks like he's just along to follow the playbook.
The "temperament" argument is absolute bull****

Yeah well Joe's constituents should be seriously concerned about HIS impartiality and sense of fair play when it comes to backing the temperament and the dirty low down play of his colleagues on the Judiciary committee. Partisan hypocrite.Joe Donnelly has updated his stance. This is from his aide. Looks like he's just along to follow the playbook.
