What about a bunch of these?
88GT - you are correct!
Yes that is much better!I think this is more Jeremy's style.

Just to tall...
Ever try to pull a trailer behind one that tall?!
I actually got to restore one while I was in Germany...What about the halftrack?
What about this? Light armor to stop things such as 7.62I actually got to restore one while I was in Germany...
Good luck finding parts...
Not really as good as you would think crossing adverse terrain either...
81mm mortars I think are served by a 3 person crew and can be carried by infantry.
120mm mortars need a truck or donkey or camel or whatever you have available to tote it around. That is one big hunk of steel.
81mm and 120mm are pretty standard fare for all countries and services, so getting tubes, ammo, etc wouldn't be that bad.

Worthless off-road in the armored and uparmored versions, especially when you factor in that they really have little to no protective value...What about this? Light armor to stop things such as 7.62
Hello Gooseneck...BLASPHEMER!!!!!!
Hello....drop hitch??
Besides, I was just thinking that would be your chauffeured Staff vehicle. I'll drive.
Hello Gooseneck...
Besides, I was thinking maybe we could have someone else drive while you helped me...
After rooting around the 'net. I think 60mm at the Platoon level, with 120mm at the Company Level...60mm would stay (relatively) light and hip shoot with back up from 81's. Just sayin'...sure I'm not the first one to think up an idea like 60mm's at a smaller unit level with their parent having a section of 81's
Helped you with what? No, wait. Don't answer that.

Can you mount a a Mortar in the Back of a truck and use that as a mobile firing platform, or must they be mounted from a baseplate?!
Ramps get way to heavy when you start doing that...Well, duh, just jack the trailer up. Geez.
You know, basic Executive Secretarial type of stuff...Helped you with what? No, wait. Don't answer that.
