I had a blued PT92 with no rail and really liked it. Much better choice than the two previous firearms listed.

I was also a little surprised to see the "just call 911" response on a gun board. Yes, police should be called, but to be reliant solely on the police? We all know how ineffective some of the non-lethal options can be too, especially if dealing with a drugged up offender or multiple assailants. I'd take a High-point if it was all I could afford.

I said get a knife and pepper spray

If they are that far - run away/get cover - use your cell phone, call police.

Having a knife and pepper spray are not being totally reliant on police, and a knife (last time I checked) is a lethal weapon.

We all should know how a GUN can be ineffective when dealing with a drugged up offender or multiple assailants.

AGAIN, I would rather have a knife/pepper spray than a crappy weapon that could stop functioning after one shot. At least the knife can't jam and won't have to be reloaded.

I have the Jennings 9mm and It shoots fine but all the neg- about them makes me scared of it.
