I purchased a couple of guns for my collection.
First, I have started collecting a gun called the Wyoming Parker series. Those people familiar with 1911 style weapons are familiar with these guns. The were manufactured, you guessed it, in Wyoming from approximately 1988 to 1992. Theyr'e solid stainless steel firearms (with the exception of the recoil spring guide - nylon). Even though I have not experienced any problems with the ones I have purchased, they did not have a good reputation.
My second purchase was a "sweet" Dan Wesson model 15-2V .357 in blue steel. Came with two (2) barrels and appeared to be in mint condition. The two (2) barrels happened to be the four (4) inch and six (6) inch. Now I am on my search and destroy mission to find a mint condition snubby barrel for this beast.
