IU Baseball in College World Series

I haven't followed IU Sports in June before but now is as good time as any! Hopefully they can roll on to a National Championship. I made a tortilla in support.

I just saw this today. I didn't realize I was a baby the last time ANY big 10 team had made it.

I was on espn.com the other day to catch the gals softball championship and was shocked to see IU (or really any cold climate school) listed in the guys WS super regionals. I watched both games with #7Florida and was pleasantly surprised. They appear to be the real deal. I do not know how I missed this all spring.

ughhh, that was a good game, but not the wanted outcome.

Yes. They are not out yet, just a harder route.

Thought for sure both of those hits were home runs

No. They play Oregon state, loser of that game goes home. Winner plays Mississippi state again and has to beat them twice. IU's pitching has to improve. Their pitchers got behind and had to throw hitters pitches to try and catch up.

Hard to win when the ump strikes you out on balls too. Bottom of 8th was a joke

IU left several stranded. It was a good game. They are for real.

Speaking of umps calls, watched an earlier game where a lefty was throwing 18" off the plate for strikes. It was hard to watch. Left hand batters couldn't even reach it.

Tough loss. New bats are crap. They aught to at least go to the MLB baseballs with the trimmer seams. Let the batters have a chance. BOTH those 9th inning hits should have been out.

I've watched 4 games now and have yet to see a home run. Dead bats suck.
