My one daughter came home from GVSU for the weekend. She just left an hour ago to go back. It was awesome to see her and spend some time with her. Of course I had to spoil her with her favorite food while she was home. Fried chicken, steaks on the grill, and spaghetti. I know these moments will not come as often anymore, so I'll make the most of them when they do.

My ol lady cried when the the kids went off to college.
    I drove to a pub.

Problem is.........one got sick and came home (medical withdraw)
and the other graduated, and works from home.

I need to buy bigger boots.................to kick their arses out of my house.

Am done playing parent. They were given the tools, let em figure it out (or not).
Am close to 60 and getting old sucks.

There's stuff I want to do and it takes time and money (and health).
    Time for "me time".

People need to get out of my way (and they won't).

A little more $ in the bank and I'll just leave if they wont (not joking).
    Time is a wastin'

My oldest is on her way, so no worries.
    Cool when she stops by.
Not often, she has stuff to do.

Middle lives at home, needs to GTFO.

Shorty will proly never leave home due to health issues. She's super cool though.

When all 3 were out of the house (last 2 away at college)...........the ol lady freaked out.
I considered it just part of life, did my job and handed the kids the keys to their futures.

It was a minor adjustment, getting used to the pleasant silence at home.
A glimpse into what Heaven must be like.

My kids were not bad, but kids are kids and parents get old LOL
