Is this an SBR?

Was looking at this rifle and the spec say 17"barrel. I've seen one of these in person and the store was selling it just like any other rifle, not a class 3. Is there different rules for rim fires?

If the barrel is 17" then it's not an SBR. The NFA says "less than 16" so even a 16" would be a normal firearm and not an NFA.

Like previously stated this is not NFA. Barrel length is 16" or more and OAL is 26" or more.

Yes. And SBS are a no-no in Indiana.

so whats the deal with the sbs. u can own a sbr under nfa but not a shotgun. jusy wantin to know y? I googled it and all I get is the law like it states a barrel length of no shorter then 18" and a overall length of no shorter then 26"

Indiana is good to go on all NFA except SBS's and HE DD's. That is because state law prohibits them.

Well if you look at your paperwork you will see that's an Any Other Weapon, not a SBS.
