Maybe he couldn't understand it because it was too short?Well, other than the typo (original was progresses, now changed to the intended progressives, I think it’s pretty straightforward.
I'm kind of more down with Kyle ReeseEh, I’m sure you think it is, but that’s not the dichotomy, I’d agreed with. I think the Christian/non-Christian dichotomy is quite bridgeable, other than religions which see Christians as infidels to conquer. But, if you believe this is a battle between Christians and the Antichrist, that’s a religious opinion, which you’re entitled to. Prolly not gonna get is where we need to be, IMHO.
Now this one is accurate. The logical conclusion of progressivism is necessarily communist. There’s no bridge. They can’t peacefully coexist because Marxists can’t abide capitalism or especially capitalists.
If you're looking for evidence the L/R gap is bridge-able, I would prefer to see AOC's NYC Jewish voters abandoning her. Instead of academic weirdos from Columbia pushing her further left. There's no evidence this is hurting her politically.I've got some optimism that this recent sprint to the left will leave some moderate democrats wondering if they were wrong the whole time about the government's inevitable move to tyranny. AOC was even confronted by an angry group of protestors this week. If she isn't left enough, who is?
My point as as more and more people adopt the crazy alt left viewpoints, I think you'll see more people come to the right. Elon Mush, Joe Rogan, Bill Maher (?!) are all people speaking out about the insanity of transgenderism and border issues. If you're looking for evidence the L/R gap is bridge-able, I would prefer to see AOC's NYC Jewish voters abandoning her. Those are not coming to the right, they are liberals in the classic sense. They are markers for how far left the left has moved…My point as as more and more people adopt the crazy alt left viewpoints, I think you'll see more people come to the right. yes, but if liberals can see the insanity of the left maybe there is a common cause that can unite the country. Those are not coming to the right, they are liberals in the classic sense. They are markers for how far left the left has moved…
Eliminating democrats?yes, but if liberals can see the insanity of the left maybe there is a common cause that can unite the country.
No worries there. This country will never run out of people who have become experts at complaining about everything while simultaneously being completely unable to develop viable solutions to anything.Eliminating democrats?
I agree with that description.I'm kind of more down with Kyle Reese

Here’s another divide we can’t bridge.No. I don’t think it is. At least not as things are now. I mean if when progressives faint at the prospect of not allowing people to get away with child molesting, we’re not even on the same planet.
Here’s another divide we can’t bridge.
Dude raped women. They won’t arrest/prosecute? That’s ****ing crazy. That’s not from this planet, that’s from ClownWorld™.
TL;DR THAT’S ****ING CRAZY!

Maher will be down with Biden, Rogan will just vote libertarian with the rest of the "tatts and weed" doods. They aren't "seeing through" liberalism. They're just rejecting the portions of it that hurt them personally. My point as as more and more people adopt the crazy alt left viewpoints, I think you'll see more people come to the right. Upon further reflection, I guess I have an issue with the premise of the thread.
What does "bridging the gap" mean?
That we come up with some "Haley-like moderate" who unites both sides? I mean, we just spent an entire thread trashing her and the Roomba she rode in on.
Nobody here (or very few) want to "bridge" anything. We mostly want the moderate-uniter-compromisers to go **** themselves. So what is this even about?
Should this thread have been titled, "Raise your hand if you think No Labels" should go eff themselves?"
We hit a hard disagreement there. The people elected and/or appointed to positions of leadership in this country swear an oath to protect and defend it. The people I listed directly, intentionally, consistently and repeatedly violate that oath on an almost daily basis during their times of "service".
