Chance, a 7 year-old Standard Poodle. I know, I know, a poodle; don't laugh if you haven't owned one as they are VERY smart dogs and great for families. I was skeptical of a poodle when we first looked at getting one (wife wanted a dog that didn't shed and that narrows the field by a LOT), but agreed provided it was a "standard" and not a "toy" or "miniature" (I don't like small dogs, sorry). I'd get another in a minute (and probably will when Chance passes).
our "Texas Heeler". We thought he was a mutt but apparently they mix blue heelers and Australian shepards on purpose in Texas. So they made a name for it.
Basset hound Penny in the first pic, old man Pete in the second, Puppy Tippy in the third. We got penny from Mrs. Gungho as a puppy and had one litter before getting her fixed tippy is the product of penny being bred one time.
L to R: Sadie, Laci, Me, Beau in our pond. Sadie is about 8 and we found her abandoned, Laci is 2 and ours since she was a puppy. Both are ours. Beau is my son & daughter-in-laws, he will be a yr old in Dec. and spends 2-4 days a week with Laci and Sadie.
