Total redneckish. Just do a ball next year.
Is the Indy Car drop any more lame than the Ball Drop in NY?
Anybody else think that car drop thing was lame?
I too, was concerned that the thing was swaying. Its neat that Indy is trying to do something. I think the ball drop in NY is lame too. I thought it actually fell and crashed before I watched the first time years ago.

cross your arms in front next time.It looked kind of dangerous too. I've been around cranes, lifting loads and whenever you see that load swinging and swaying like that...there's a pucker factor I reflexively sense.
I went with the GF, and GF's dad, but we turned around because they had ESG Security patting people down for weapons and other items. We went into the Tilted Kilt next door for a while before heading home. Didn't realize this public event would be subject to a pat-down.
Can't ever be too safe with indycars hanging precariously over your head and all
Honestly, the jack mount on the rears of those cars are probably the strongest thing on them. It's all the crane and cable that that point.
Still... someone might have accounted for the wind
YES!!!!!! Not even the same universe. Is the Indy Car drop any more lame than the Ball Drop in NY?
A redneck would have had a better idea than this. The Mars Hillians would have opted for a ball made of PBR bottles illuminated by moped headlights.Total redneckish. Just do a ball next year.
