Commercials make you aware of a company or service and they work. I am completely aware of which companies and services I will never spend my money on because their commercials annoy me.

Hare Chevrolet (sisters of annoyance)
Stanley Chevrolet (one dime down people)
State Fair (nails on a happy chalkboard)
Quiznos (kittens)
Progressive (flo)
Shane Co. (Recent fake stories)
##Cash.com (loan middlemen - numbers change by market and season)
Hoosier Park (back ground tambourine tune)
Indiana Grand (cheesy)

Seems to me all these commercials are working perfectly.

If by pissing off customers so bad they know EXACTLY who you are and refuse to come see you for them, you are correct.


A good commercial should be both memorable AND enticing. They are only halfway there.

Annoying Indy1500 commercials is an Indiana tradition... Barney and Harvey have been doing them for 20+ years now.

Those commercials are aimed at all those city boys that are wearing the cowboy hats and boots and listening to country music in their 4 wheel drive pick-up trucks. Wannabe hillbillies.

Yea but are they hot, in an INGO sort of way? I guess I need to change the channel from FNC to some locals once in a while...

We tried watching WTHR yesterday morning for a few minutes to see tornado damage. We then remembered why we havn't watched it in months, the programming is still worthless.
