Some dont like it but Rambone tells the truth .He is a true patriot.
I am a member of the teaparty and an elected delegate. Just got home from the Indiana Convention. I can vouch for Rambone. He is not exaggerating. Everything he says is fact. I watched it happen and was shocked.
I wish the members of the teaparty group I belong to had gotten the information about the "secret ballot" nomination procedure sooner so we could have helped more. As it was, nobody OTHER THAN the most RINO (and I mean ULTRA RINO) Republicans who recited their "prepared scripts" were allowed to say a word. I stood up and tried to ask a question and the District Chairmen said that Requests (or points) of Information were NOT allowed and to shut up and sit down.
It was very disappointing to be elected to be a delegate, to spend all that money on a hotel room, the trip down there and my delegate fee and not to be allowed to have a real vote or even to ask a question.
I'll go as far as saying Rambone tells the truth as he sees it, but he's a tinfoil hatter for the most part.
There is no denying that Rambone is on the edge relative to most people, but I would also remind you that prior to every major 'incident' in history there has been at least one person, usually more than one, declaring impending catastrophe only to hear the echo of charges ranging from being alarmist to being insane.
In many regards, I could be asccused of being of the tinfoil hat persuasion, not because I read that Alex Jones posted that "Obama took a s**t and wiped with his LEFT hand!" but rather because most cataclysmic historical events come with generally similar trends, and we are presently seeing these trends unfold. Einstein famously observed that the definition of insanity is repetitively doing the same things while expecting different results. It would serve us well to learn this lesson in the academic sense before having to learn it by experience. If recognizing the signs of impending problems and preferring to fix the problems before a catastrophic failure of the nation takes place makes me a member of the tinfoil hat brigade, so be it.
It sounds like the county chairman job is the one right thinking people need to work toward getting then.
Thank you for the info. I was unaware of this. It is amazing how crooked the politicians are.
Trooper;3000083 Just not open to the masses. [/QUOTE said:Not open to the masses????
They didn't even let us KNOW WHO we were voting for UNTIL right before we were supposed to say yay or nay.
They wouldn't even respond to a request to REREAD THE NAMES for people in the back that couldn't hear. (The nerve of SOME asking to know WHO they were voting for.)
It was like just shut up and say yay, WE'VE already picked out who we want. "Trust us."

I'm a state delegate as well. District 3 managed to present a 40% "Nay" vote on the national delegate slate. We didn't accomplish anything concrete, but it may have future ramifications, nonetheless.
That said...it felt like an almost complete waste of time, energy, & money to go down there. Between Allen County's $120 delegate fee, transportation, hotel, & food, it cost nearly $400 to essentially watch a pep rally. I'm considering whether to pick up one of the open precinct committeeman positions, but at this point, I'm not sure how much futility can take before people start getting choked.
Rambone and Paco, did you get e-mails from Eric Holcomb telling you NOT to question their choices and just to say yay because there were too many parties going on and too much to do in Indy to waste time "voting"?
I did.

I did.
Start with being a precinct committeeman. Get others who think like you to run as precinct people. They elect the chairman and vote on who replaces officer holders who die or move to other offices. Plus it lets you know who is who. And gets you into the backroom gossip.
Simply voting people out of office does not work. You have to control the system, the party.
The Tea Party is not the first group to fight this battle. Lots of us have scars.
While I agree we need to change the leadership of the Republican Party from the ground up, reading Holcomb's email doesn't raise any particular "stupid" flags for me. If you look at the Republican Party from the view of a long-time "insider" rather than an "outsider" trying to change the system, the idea of "loyalty to the Party" is an ideal criterion for selecting delegates. We need to do what the Communists/Socialists did with the Democrat Party, we need to change the "Party line" of what constitutes "loyalty" to better fit OUR ideals and values.
