I had a Madison County Deputy try to eject me from the library in Anderson once because I was carrying. I stood my ground and calmly/tactfully explained to him why he was wrong. He relented (after spending half a hour looking through the code) and I stayed. I've also had a BMV employee in Alexandria tell me it wasn't legal because it was a government building. I also informed her she was wrong and if she felt she was right, she was welcome to call the police. She didn't call them.
