    Also, a friendly reminder:

Tread lightly here, jackassery will be dealt with through banishment.

    Thank you for your consideration.

Ugh, awful news. We should all be glad we get to sleep while others work to keep us safe, and sometimes pay the ultimate price in doing so. Nick or Frank, if you know of a need the family has, I think this would be a good time for another INGO donation drive. I'm happy to donate.

My wife and I lived in those apts. in the early 80's. They were a clean/fun place to live. The idiots started rolling in right as we were moving out.

A sad day. Prayers and positive thoughts too surviving family members and the Dept.

Condolences and prayers to the family and the IMPD family...

I know often times we are quick to judge LEO when they are hard-assed, or even slip up and misjudge a situation. We're quick to call them thugs, even jack-booted sometimes, but this serves as a reminder that they are the ones out there putting their lives on the line... there isn't enough money in the world that would get me out their doing their job. Big props to all LEOs for the sacrifices and personal risk they go up against every single day...

    Thanks LEO's...

Rest in peace. Prayers and best wises and condolences to all involved and to those who put their lives on the line every day. As others have said, at least the trash got taken out in the process, but it is a minor consolation, and a vastly unfair trade, IMO. I am glad that our INGO officers were all safe, and that the life of the woman was saved through his actions.

If we can help, all that is needed is to be asked.
