I'll use you as an example.
Would you say that the majority of the time you go outside you expect a dangerous encounter in which the use of a gun is necessary?
Or
Would you say that the majority of the time you go outside you do not expect a dangerous encounter in which the use of a gun is necessary?
If you're going to say that at any given time there is a chance that you could be attacked, then yea I already know...I'm asking if you EXPECT it to happen or not. If you do not EXPECT it to happen, then you are carrying for the off chance that you might need it - You are carrying because it is your right to defend yourself if the need arises - You are carrying because you can as opposed to carrying because you need it.
