Nuh uh. They are different.
"GMC" doesn't spell "Chevrolet" ...geez, didn't you go to Kindergarten?!?
Heh! They've been known to spell GMC on the outside and Chevrolet on the inside...back in the day, that is. I know a guy.

Don't forget there's also same brand-snobbyness. Dad prefer's his silverado over my Sierra for looks. I think he's insane. Or blind.
That's where I'm at. Moving and renovating has reminded me how much I'd like to have a truck agai.
I want a full size with an 8' bed. I don't care for the current trend of crew cabs with stubby beds.
Down to those two. STEEL body and an LS engine, get it rust proofed by somebody who knows what they are doing and cares. I wouldn't touch a ford with the problems they are having with their new engines... And aluminum body, no thanks.I don't need a 3/4 ton, but I do like my dads 2006 F250 a lot...
For me, it's between a Silverado or a F150.

Spark plugs and timing chains. What engine problems?
Dunno why I would want a 3rd vehicle though.

Winter. Haul stuff.... Bacon.
I really liked those 4.0 engines in the jeeps. They did have their issues, but if maintained are pretty indestructible. And it's a shame the gubment got involved and they had to stop production.I have thought of just keeping my jeep, and drive it until it dies. You really can't beat that I6 4.0...
And buy an older 2000-2002 Silverado 2500 single cab long bed truck, with that 350 engine. Just pay cash for one. I always liked those body styles.

3rd vehicle? Pshaw. Two adults (well, technically) here and 4 vehicles. I'd have 5, but LaDirectora hasn't approved any of my wild schemes (yet).I have thought of just keeping my jeep, and drive it until it dies. You really can't beat that I6 4.0...
