I just had a customer compliment my work, to the tune of freebies in an amount more than THREE times the value of the job we were hired to preform.

We were hired to install a kitchen sink, faucet, drinking water faucet, and re-install the old garbage disposal.
Just a couple hours of work.

My customer was so pleased with the results, and the conversations about firearms as we worked, he offered more work and "things I'm not going to get a chance to use for some time to come..."

These include, but are not limited to,
A more or less brand new Hornady Lock-N-Load Sonic Cleaner and an RCBS Case Prep center.
These two alone retail for around $150 each!
I tried to offer to buy them but he just said "take them. I'd rather see them being put to some use rather than sit here in boxes."

I was somewhat taken aback by this generosity. This was the first time we've worked for this individual, but we did have great referrals from his friends.

We were ready to leave the job-site when he asked if we would have any interest in a small utility trailer. He pointed to a small, 5'x10'
trailer parked in the yard. I immediately recognized it as being sold at Menards for around $1100- $1400.
I asked him how much. He said, "use it to pick-up my riding lawnmower on the other side of town and deliver my mower here to the new house (10 miles at most).
Once the mower is here, the trailer is yours."

I gave the man a bill for $207 for our labor. He wrote me a check for $300, then started giving away the homestead!
I really tried to offer him money but he said no!

I'm not one to take advantage of anyone, but I'll not look a gift horse in the mouth either!

    I've said it before,
    I love my job!:rockwoot:
