    A holler in Kentucky
I hope Lumin brightens your life.........(see what I did there?)

We had to put down our sweet Lilly a few years ago, she had lumps and lesions, and was 15 years old,. It was very hard, and while I'd love to have another doggie soul around, it was too hard to say goodbye, so we're pet less
In 2020, we had to make the decision to put our 4 year old shepherd down, he had epilepsy, and just didn’t respond to any medication. Maybe I’ve lived a soft life, I dunno, but that was THE most painful, heartbreaking experience I’ve ever had. It’s coming up on four years, and I still think about him every day.

We have three dogs now, two mixed breed staffordshire types, and we finally found another shepherd in 2023.
