Well, I may have spoken too soon. Evening news is saying that the worst is just now moving in. I guess there has been some damage here in Indy and about 3000 homes without power. Just had a pretty good gust as I am typing this!

I'm watching it from my deck. Fortunately the winds are out of the north/northeast so I'm sheltered from the wind and rain. If it was coming from the south I'd probably have to go inside.

Right here on the Ohio River it’s calmed down quite a bit since about 2:30-3:00. We’ve had a fine, misty rain for a few hours, but at the moment it’s not even doing that.

I didn’t see any trees down, maybe some small branches and some leaves in the road, but it appears we dodged the higher winds and heavy rain.

Marion County up to 5000 power outages now. Hoping mine stays on. So far, so good.
