I reall dont think you guys are missing much. I see this auction listed all the time, same guns, same place. I'm not sure whats up with it, maybe they have high reserves, maybe its just a gimmick to build attendance, but I've been watching those Pythons and 1911's for some time now always relisted.
A co-worker's father-in-law is planning on attending so I'll let you guys know sunday

For those in Central Indiana, there is a 300+ gun auction at Christy's in Indianapolis on the 20th. Lots of 1911s, Colts, Rugers, antiques, long guns, etc.

Now that may be an auction worth attending. Estate auctions are usually legit. However I have been to several auction houses thad advertise items that never come across the block, and when they do they have a reserve that is just crazy. The one in lexington in. has been advertised over and over, same guns every time. Somethings up, I could be wrong. I wanted to attend it the first time I saw I advertised, about six months ago, but had other plans and no $, then saw the same guns listed again. Who knows maybe they have a connection that none of us collectors know about. We'll see
