    SUNNY SIDE OF THE RIVER
Several days this week so far. I stabbed myself in thumb twice yesterday with a needle file while working on a lock cylinder at work. 1st time not so bad, 2nd time I did a # on the old thumb. Bled for a good while.

I get a gaping head wound about every other week. Other than that I'm good.

    So.

Apparently the difference between rhino and some you other clumsy, careless knuckleheads is more about publicity than it is about the incidence of the wounds.

    I'm making a note. A NOTE.

Man, I just cut the **** out of myself... Middle finger, left hand, right behind the nail... Kind of a cuticle trim gone waaawaay bad. Now I'm wondering if the huge flap of skin I folded back down and held in place with a couple of bandages will grow or die.

Why the hell did I read this thread? It was like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

New response: #$@& it! Just now!

Have you ever hit your finger with a hammer hard enough to make it bleed?
I did last night installing joist hangers for the deck I'm building......

Also, slipped off a deck screw and jammed a sharp #25 torx bit into my finger.

On a Daily basis. I'm so used to the pain of a cut that I don't realize I'm injured until I see the blood. I'm a service tech and a woodworker. I always put a little bit of myself into each piece of furniture I make.

I've reviewed my experiences over the last few days, and it seems the day hardly passes that I'm not leaking, at least a little bit, at least three times.

    Really? Never did that?

Yes, you smack the edge hard enough and it will bleed.
When I start doing stuff like that it usually means I'm getting tired and sloppy.... time to quit for the day.

Now I'm not sure why my reply was the way it was.
Musta been too tired. Tired Posting, not good.
