i have a 14 year old sister that has caught the bug( she loves the m44) and recently many of my friends from collage have started to shoot with out my encouragement.
I have never put a count on it but there's been several. The last one was my daughter. She's 21 now and going into her 4th year in collage for a criminology degree. After I got my heritage .22 I took her out to shoot it now she wants to take the firearms classes and work towards her proper permit to carry as she will need in her future career. Next time we may take something with I bit of wham to it. I'm thinking the mosin should do the trick!
I don't really have to try too hard to get people interested. I would say at least 15 or 20. I don't know if you would really call it a strategy, but telling a guy in their early 20s that you don't consider them a real man till they own one seems to work pretty well. It's kinda harsh but I've gotten 3 coworkers and my sisters fiancé that way.
