    Hello Everyone!

I have some old shotguns and pistols that were my Dad's that I am going to sell. I don't think that they have significant value, but would like to know what there general value is to sell them. I am not able to find much on them and was wondering what you all would consider a good source to get this information?

Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions,

    Mark

There's always the Blue Book, but you can always post images here for ID and values. If you're lucky you might get DM's from folks wanting to take them off of your hands.

I wasn't sure if that was acceptable within the terms of the Forum. If I can do that, you are correct. That will probably be best. Thank you!

I have the Gun Digest 2022 Standard Catalog of Firearms. If we know what they are we can look them up. Obviously condition is everything and I have never had a book offer me cash, but it will tell you if you are getting 'took'.

You can also go to Marksman Shooting sports in Westfield. He is very knowledgeable and will make a wholesale offer on any or all. That will give you a professional idea of condition but keep in mind he buys to sell so prices are not what you would expect to get if selling to the end buyer.

Like Mongo said, none of what you have are much to collector's, but then again, each and every one is a classic.
Iver Johnson's were well known makers of a working man's pistol.

You should have no problem selling all of them.
    Good luck.
