Good points and thanks for the response. The whole thing gets my hair up and its hard to express my points with out going DJT of the topic.....CM, I get where you’re coming from and for most part I agree. I appreciated that Trump would rattle the cages. Cages needed rattled. For example, acting presidential isn’t needlessly calling other developing nations that we support $#%!holes. I’ve been to Haiti a couple times on missions and honestly even as much as I love the people there, it is a $#%!hole. But as the president of the United States it was wrong to say it the way he did. But Trump had a hard time toning it down and reigning it back when he needed to. That’s the kind of self inflicted wounds I talking about. As far as the debate, he took it to far in my opinion. Not that Joe didn’t deserve it, but Trump didn’t even give Joe the space to embarrass himself. In my opinion the left got freebie that night. I heard the former VP lie and claim that kids aren’t being sold into slavery and trafficked across our border. And most people missed it because Trump wouldn’t let him talk. Heck, Trump seemed to miss it. He was too focused on attacking Joe instead of attacking the issues.
Don't want to get off topic of the OP, but Seems to breakdown into three buckets:What reasoning have you heard?
We need a POTUS and a VP who are unapologetic America/Constitution loving, no nonsense, straight shooters with an unwavering tenacity and an iron will at the helm to return this country to a confident domestic/global prominence projecting strength not weakness. And that kind of sums it up - not the president we want but probably the president we need...
Great point! Funny how quickly I forget things. By 2016, the liberals and Democraps had been grinding opposing views down for decades. Any attempt to have a meaningful discussion that wasn't based on "feelings" was shamed, censured, shouted down, or the conservative was castigated as a 'Whack-job" or the list of evil labels like racist. It was like having a non-stop struggle with a world of upset and irrational teenagers.Maybe what garnished him the most attention was what the people paying attention wanted. Most Trump supporters wanted to be heard and not shouted down by the leftists. He was willing to go to the mat for them IMHO.
My recently departed mom didn't particularly care for him, but she asked me why I liked him. I said it was because he was an ***hole and I thought that America needed an ***hole after the grand apology tour that was the Obama presidency.
If you go back to 1988 to 2016, we had Presidents who were NWO and/or apologizing to the world for America's greatness. Reagan lifted up the spirit of the people at a time when it was needed. Trump pointed his finger at what Washington had become and accurately called it the swamp. People need uplifting, it helps them feel good about themselves and their country. Sometimes, something as simple as the 1980 U.S Hockey team beating the Soviets at the Olympics can have the same affect. You would have thought those guys had just stormed the Kremlin and captured it.This is an important distinction between George Bush's New World Order and Americans. Leadership today sees itself not as a representative of the people that elected them but as players on a world stage.
I think he should have toned down his twitter comments. He spouted off a lot of crap that might have been better off left unsaid or left to others.I understand why the Democrats, Liberals and the Woke? generation dislike him so much, he was in their way and destroying their plans to turn this nation into a Socialist country, but why do some Republicans, Conservatives and would be Patriots feel that way?
Now I understand personalities can and do clash and maybe you don't care for his style or bravodo and he's outspoken and all kinds of things that annoy some people, but maybe you would annoy him and possible I would or do annoy you, although I can't imagine why, LOL.
The point is, for the sake of our country, why can't we unite behind a strong, proven leader that has done exactly what he promised to do? There is a very long list.
The Democrats fall into lock step when Pelosi says (heel), well except for Rep. Manchin, he does seem to have some integrity.
Many Republicans seem to have no fight in them and they are pushovers when it comes to standing up for the people their suppose to represent. Donald Trump has that fire that is needed to save or county from those who would destroy it.
I am completely convinced that the last Presidential election was stolen, I know, I know, but I have seen the proof.
At any rate we cannot let it happen again.
But in the meantime, why does Trump annoy you?
When you look in the mirror, do you annoy others? Do they just put up with you?
Their con game started with getting Trump the nomination in the first place. The amount of free air time he got was amazing. As I remember,Hillary was a shoe in. Day 1 was the Russia,Russia Russia hookers and urine Media Narrative. It didn't matter if DT was JC. He was going to pay and so was America for voting for him.Joe,Chuck,Nancy,Hillary,BO and McConnell together had nearly 200 years of "Gov't Service".
The powers that be could not let a no experience Shylock come into town and upset their con game and start fixing all the problems they continuesly promise to fix after they get REELECTED.
He had a target on his back from day one. I saw the big picture, and lmao every day he took the microphone driving the Swamp crazy. If his mouth hurt your feelings, then CNN and the other MSM did their job.
POLITICIANS are nothing more then polished lying gangsters.
Trump was that crazy uncle who told everyone what they knew but didn't want to hear, laughed and sent you home butthurt.
We have a housing shortage is the true reason.Don't want to get off topic of the OP, but Seems to breakdown into three buckets:
'People are moving out of high price areas like CA and NY, driving markets everywhere else up'.
'Stimulus money started the frenzy'
'People are optimistic about the future'.
To be clear, I don't buy any of these. Maybe these contribute, or maybe explain a few individual samples, but not the broader condition.
Now THAT makes some sense! Thank you for the insights! We have a housing shortage is the true reason.
When the market downturn occurred almost all home building ceased. Our market lost 50,000-70,000 houses that were never built. Typically these newer neighborhoods turn over at a 10% rate. That is 5000-7000 homes we do not have available per year that cannot be replaced.
The big corporations are buying homes. Near 20% of our local homes are being sold to corporations instead of being in the rotation of owned single family homes. That is a loss of about 2000 homes per year.
Lastly, seniors are aging in place. (Not saying it is wrong, just a fact.) Reports are that 1.5 million are staying in their homes that would have moved out in the past. This too is a loss of say 3000 homes per year.
If our market had another 10,000-12,000 to sell per year it would really mitigate this crunch…
It is interesting to see others takes on this.Their con game started with getting Trump the nomination in the first place. The amount of free air time he got was amazing.
The problem then came in their underestimating how much Clinton was truly disliked.
Maybe it's time for another Bush. That's the ticket.
When Pilot saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took Rainwater, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just nation: see ye to it.
Run a business? From what I know, he is the only president to have multiple bankruptcies. So I doubt he is much of a business man. Cater was a farmer and never went bankrupt. And that fact that Trump was from outside the system, is a cheap SOB, and is known in the R.E. world as being frugal with spending and working his suppliers prices down to the bone.
The general disdain is because it is easy to make an athhole look like one, and Trump being an NYC guy doesn't really give a crap.
The RINO's don't like him because he was a threat to their riches, same thing for the Leftists and the bureaucracy itself. Someone from outside, who hates wasting money has to be destroyed.
But I will say one thing about him, he's a hell of an executive and knows how to run a business.
