Hello from Danville! This looks like a fantastic site, and I'm looking forward to learning many things from many people!
I grew up with a couple of shotguns and rifles in the house that my Dad had from when he was a boy. However, I just recently really got deeply interested in firearms. I've hunted here and there, but nothing serious. I like both shooting and hunting, but will probably just do more shooting. We'll see.
Obama is partially to thank for my renewed interest. I'd been considering a handgun and an AR15 for several years, but seeing Obama as a threat to gun ownership, I purchased an AR, a Ruger SR9, and a Ruger LCP, all in the last month! I'm looking forward to years of enjoyment with them, but I have not had a chance to shoot any of them yet.
Anyway, on to the forum!
