Hey guys.
Given the fact that I've been browsing around this site for quite a while now, I figured it was high time that I went ahead and joined up.
About me (If you've got time to waste haha)
I'm an Arkansas native whose been living here in this fine state for a little over eight years now. I was born and raised shooting and hunting with my father. I get deep satisfaction from the smell of fresh burnt gun powder, preferably accompanied by a swift kick to my shoulder.
I love long guns. I have an AR-15, a Chinese SKS, a 1938 Russian Mosin Nagant, and a 1950s vintage Browning Sweet Sixteen Auto Five (Family heirloom given to me on my sixteenth birthday just as with my father, and his father before him)
I also have a couple of handguns (M1911, .22 revolver) that I enjoy shooting from time to time. I just don't get the same kind of satisfaction out of handgun shooting as i do from long guns.
I am a somewhat regular "patron" if you will, of the Wilbur Wright DNR range out in New Castle. I recommend it highly to anyone, as long as you don't mind a bit of a drive. Who doesn't love a free range?
I think John Moses Browning is one of the greatest engineering minds in modern history.
Well, that about sums it up. I look forward to being a part of this fine community.
Have a good one everybody!
