I got rid of lil red and the young turks. Keeping Dr Hanna for now until I can see whether see has any worthwhile skills or advice?
    :dunno:

I've mostly been looking at teardrop camper videos.
    Never really looked at hers.
Sometimes I'll look at a "stealth" camping video.

There's one guy that seems to have a BUNCH of videos on stealth camping. Like in airport parking lots... Behind "welcome to XXX-city" signs, etc etc. In all manner of brutally cold weather, too. All about how to hide your signature from eyeballs, prying eyes or not. (like if car camping, doing what you can to avoid lights and condensation on the inside of the vehicle) I watched a few bits and pieces of a few videos. But for ME, I'm not interested enough to watch the entire things.

Advoko makes. Been watching that guy a few years and used some of his ideas.

I've cut some lumber with the chainsaw, making some boards, posts, and beams. Built a 10x10 post and beam shelter house on top of an old root cellar foundation. Cut it all out of an oak that fell in a storm.

Right now I'm cutting up some poplar in to posts and beams to build a green house on top of an old building foundation.

I've got one of those Alaska mills but to be honest you don't need it for posts. I just cut those free hand, like Advoko.

We haven't gotten as much mileage out of the greenhouse as we expected, but are looking at alternative heating this winter. Best of luck with yours.

I don't plan to heat ours all winter or anything. Just may be a little head start and a place to putter around with what ever my gardener wants.

I'm far from self sustaining with my little shed. Considering taking it up a couple notches soon. Tagged for interest!
Propane lights, heat, stove, small water heater.. Generator for well, shower.
Need to expand the living quarters. Thinking of adding on a small room for bunks.
Solar is doable. Need to add wood heating capabilities. Heat is the biggest drain on propane. Not enough room for a stove right now.
We started gardening last year. Doubled the size this year. Will double again next year. Very sandy soils. Adding compost to the small garden as well as lime. Our potato crop this year is pretty good. Left some in the ground to dig up for deer season eats.
