I got this Ruger 50th Anniversary model MkII earlier this week:

TWINS.......well, sorta....the right one is an older p230, and the left one is a bit newer. I found it interesting the old one says .380auto and the newer one say 9mm kurtz.....lol Same thing, but interesting differences. BTW, thanks TSG....

I think I tasted too much of the koolaid.....

I frequently carry a Sig 230 like yours. Great guns and very well made. Mine is very accurate.

Here's an explanation of the function of the pistol.

The 'squeeze cocker' both prepares the pistol to fire, and also takes the place of a manual safety and slide release. Until the pistol is cocked, the trigger is pretty much disconnected.
