“Why didn’t it happen?” Glick said. “Two reasons: Hamas jumped the gun because they had this Supernova music festival on the border… The tantalizing prospect of mass rape of young Israeli women, and mass murder of young Israeli partygoers was like a raw steak in front of a lion’s den. They just couldn’t resist the temptation. So it was their bloodlust that made them jump the gun.”

“Not only did Hamas begin the attack without waiting for their Iranian-backed Hezbollah brethren in the north, but “they got stuck”, Glick explained. “They were supposed to progress to military bases far away from the Gaza border. They were supposed to leave people behind and keep going. But they didn’t. They stayed in these communities to burn and decapitate children and rape their mothers, and murder their fathers and take people hostage to Gaza, because they were so happy to be doing this and so excited that they forgot their strategic objective.”

This is my rah-rah halftime speech for Europe tonight.

I think NATO is obsolete and I want to be proven wrong. The US didn't hammer down and win the Cold War just so that four decades later, Europe could usurp their culture to third world barbarians that have no respect for the classical liberalism of the West.

Where the hell are the Europeans that were proud of their culture? Proud of the advancements? That fearlessly sailed to the edge of their known world for fame, fortune and glory. Where is that bravado?

It's time for Europeans to get a chip on their shoulder about their culture and way of life. Europe's younger cousin went from colonial dependence to world superpower in less than two centuries. But it was done on the foundation of European wealth, culture, enlightenment.

The British, the Belgians, the French, the Italians, the Dutch, the Danes, the Swedes, the Norwegians take your countries back. Your fathers and grandfathers stood with ours in the Great War and World War II. Make the men of June 6, 1944 proud. Honor the victory at Pegasus Bridge. Let not Charles Martel's victory at the Battle of Tours be in vain.

Take back your countries, Lads, and let this day be known as the day that European patriots set aside their differences for the good of their culture.

Kind of hard to criticize Europe for this when they value their borders more than we do.

No, the problem is NATO allows them to defer all defense costs onto the US tax payer. Until they're paying us somewhere around 25% of their annual GDP, we should only be looking out for ourselves.
