Here we go, nobody wanted them before and now that they are discontinued dealers will be trying to get double the price at the shows. Who knows maybe they'll sell now. I remember the old S&W L frame 696 .44 spcls, we couldn't give those away when new and now they are 900-1000.00 at the shows.

They were somewhat popular with several co worked having them from the late 1990's through the mid 2000's. As many have pointed out the major companies offering bolt guns now for around 300 bills was the nail in the coffin. Most HR fans already have theirs but the best way to jack up a price is when people that think they can't get something and missed out and they go a little crazy. I don't believe there will be many sales at the 900 mark and they will come down. JMHO

My older HR in 223 has a 1/12 twist barrel. Great for shooting 45 to 55 grain reloads. Popped many groundhogs with it. Would have liked to have found one in 7.62x39 cal.
