Too many people think those signs hold the weight of law everywhere, or that those signs are a magical talisman in general.

If there isn’t security and a walk through medal detector, it’s a safe assumption that someone there has a gun. Heck even then it’s iffy
I suspect the private business policy and signs do reduce the number of people carrying. People don't want to draw attention to themselves or in some cases may be uncertain what the penalty is.
If you want to carry at some venues, you have to put a ridiculous amount of effort in first to see if there is going to be detection. or you have to allow time to go back to the car, then knowing you are leaving a firearm in the car. I suspect a lot of people that would otherwise carry, leave the firearm at home due to the uncertainty of consequence.

I really think it’s a good thing to have idiots spewing idiotic things, it gets the middle of the road idiots to choose a side. Hell, a couple of the middle of the road idiots at work were even coming up to me today and saying “did you see that idiot on the news whining about the armed citizen that killed the mass shooter in Greenwood”?

My Daughter works for Simon, Downtown Indy. She sent me this screenshot of her computer at work today.

Have her call and ask for counseling.

"I need help. My employer fails to provide a safe work environment with adequate security yet will not allow me to provide for my own safety because of their gun free zone policy. What can you do to help me feel safe?"

PS I keep my gun in my car because of this silly GFZ rule but there is no parking lot security so my employer is potentially making another gun available to a criminal that may break into my car.

You would think anyone using the handle "JewishResistor" would have some historical sense of what can happen when a population is disarmed. I'm guessing he's not Jewish at all and is probably a Holocaust denier too.
I questioned his faith when he closed with JFC.

How can he be Jewish and use the phrase Jesus F'n Christ?

You can add needless medication and social media to that list
No doubt. Unfettered Social Media access should be viewed as child abuse.

Likes and comments on social media produces dopamine.

Think about it the next time you see that little icon next to the bell.

You get a little shot a dopamine. It makes you keep coming back.

It’s the same dopamine that is created with drugs, alcohol, porn, gambling etc.

That’s one of the reasons they’re addicting.

We have laws that try to keep that junk from those under 18/21.

Social Media is just as addictive and possibly more damaging for teens.

And yeah, not a fan of doping up kids either.

I remember when I was in 8th grade, we had this kid in my health class (lead by a non-PC gym teacher) that claimed to be an atheist. The teacher asked him if he ever used the Lord's name in vain. Kid said, "What do you mean?" Teacher said, "Have you ever said G_d damn?" Kid said, "Well yeah." Teacher said, "Well then you ain't no atheist."

That kid was kinda wacky though (although to my knowledge, never became a mass murderer). A few weeks later, he was claiming to be Jesus Christ.

The first man shot had a handgun. According to this story he was taken by surprise walking into the restroom.

The story also says Elisjsah was taught to shoot "by his grandfather".
Guy Relford posted that Elisjsah has retained his services and they won't be making any statements until the criminal investigation is complete.

A statement from the Greenwood police chief is that they are not aware of any permit, but that he was legal to carry via constitutional carry. (the good guy, that is)
