Congrats! I took early retirement in April 2009, and have loved every minute since then.

I was asked, "What's the best thing about bering retired?" My answer was, "I can take a nap any time I want to!":D

Here's the bad thing about retirement: There's no holidays, no sick days off, no vacations, and the pay sucks! :D:D But other than that...

    Enjoy yourself and have FUN!!!:rockwoot:

    Congrats!!!

I retired early almost three years ago and am totally enjoying doing what I want (OK jokers, the legal stuff of course :D ) when I want. And the funny thing is I can always find something to do to keep busy if I want, or just waste time here!

Congratulations. I'm at full retirement age, but just can't bring myself to give up the income, especially since I like what I do and work at home .. but I'm getting progressively less interested in doing other people's work, so my time is coming ..

    Enjoy!

Congrats! Until the fed ups the retirement age on my I've only got 31 more years to go! That's the good news.

The bad news... No men in my family have ever made it that long.
