So, which bar in the Haute? I've probably been drunk there.
the question is was it crooked before? And yes, my nose is crooked. haha
I was not coming down on you, my apologies. I was just trying to get you to take your personal security to the next level. Oh by the way Ohh Rah, thank you for your service Marine.
As a young PFC years ago I was out drinking with some 0311's (trouble before it even gets started...lol). What I thought was a sucker punch to my buddy was actually a stab with a knife. We had been drinking earlier, and yes there was a confrontation at the bar. We decided to leave before it got out of hand. We went to a restaurant for breakfast. We were followed and confronted again by the same dudes. I went and called the police told them we wanted to leave and needed escort out the restaurant. While I was on the phone my buddy thought it ok to go out and have a smoke. I saw the "punch" from inside so dropped the phone and ran out there. The dudes with the knife were confronted with a 1911 and after some choice words and a broken car window they gave up with out a fight. The phone call I made saved me a world of hurt from the 1st shirt and CO. I learned a lot that night. My buddy took a stab wound to his kidney; it lacerated the main artery to the kidney. He was life lined out by helio right there in Jacksonville, FL. He spent several hours in surgery and a couple weeks in intensive care.
You joined a gun forum and your OP referrenced little on firearms. I just wanted to throw in a what if in there to get you thinking.
Semper Fi and God Bless you and your boys.
Goodnight, not surprising someone from the horrible hell hole that is jacksonville, NC would produce a knife... Glad he made it alright...

It was Jacksonville, FL
NAS Cecil Field in Jacksonville, FL. I was stationed at the Marine Baracks there at the time. I just got my orders to go to Jacksonville, NC and that was what we were celebrating.
Showmes... It is actually a new bar, so you may not have been there... It is right behind the Thorntons off of 3rd street near popular....
If the guy knocked him out and broke his nose with one sucker punch, I'd think that one should be very leery of a rematch with the contender
Waiting on someone to start a counter-thread... "so I sucker-punched some dude today..."
