223 Gunner
Master
Now now, let's look at the time line: Little Timmy wants a Vepr 12 but doesn't want to pay the $1,000+ price tag. So despite EVERYONE screaming what a great deal these are, he decides to wait. Meanwhile the fixed folder becomes available but Little Timmy STILL won't cough up the grand or so for the new model, meanwhile the price comes down on the wood/plastic stock.
Then by some miracle they go on sale across the interwebs. Fixed folders for $799! But Little Timmy remains a clueless dumbass and figures he will wait still longer. Then Ukraine erupts and for weeks thinking folk posit the possibility of import bans from Russia. It's happened before and will happen again. But no, Little Timmy has better things to do.
So Veprs are banned from importation and some folks decide to list guns for 25-30% above the original list and equal to what many retailers are selling them for and Little Timmy is mad as heck ant these evil exploiters.
Little Timmy sounds like a tight A$$, and should get a different hobby. This one is expensive.
I get what you're saying, I have seen this happen with my co-workers, when you could not find an AR cheap (post sandy hook), they expected me to sell them some of mine for what I had in them.
Why would I do that? To set them up to flip them and make money? I can do that myself. If people can't follow advise, just like now, I've been telling the same guys, now is the time to buy an AR, not Nov. or Dec.
Have they bought any AR's? Yes 2 of the guys did. The others have no interest until they think you won't be able to get one anymore.
