With all of the buzz about the single-stack Glock 42, not much has been said about the new 41. Massad Ayoob does a review of the new long-slide .45 cal model.

Looks like Ill be buying the first one I see in a store or online. WE NEED AN FDE!!!!! It would seem to me if the slide profile is thinned down to that of a 34, it would have the dimensions of the G30s/36 slide… This could be interesting. Wonder how possible it would be for a 10mm conversion.

I believe I need to get a good "hands on" look at a 41. I'm not ready to spend money yet but it's looks very interesting. The only large frame Glock I have totes a 50GI upper but I may have to consider one of these.

People have been jokingly asking for a Glock 1911. Well folks here it is. The size will be similar. I could see this thing working well in a duty holster or limited 10 USPSA.

Just picked mine up today. Without shooting it yet, I really like it. Hopefully will do some shooting tomorrow.

Can't imagine liking it better than my G21. Time will tell. Anybody want to let me take one for a spin? Let me know. :-)

I've got some friends that work in departments with pretty lenient duty gun policies and they are thinking just that.
