Those stores are being rebanded, so I assume they are hiring new employees, don't know if the old ones were let go or they quit. Hire new employees at lower hourly starting wage vs. keep old employees with higher hourly wage.

Ft Wayne has a decent selection of used long arms again. Nothing to really scream about for a deal, but some stuff at ok prices. Apparently they got the inventory from Coldwater.
I went in Gander Greenwood this morning. It's beginning to thin out pretty well.
My buddy there informed me that it most likely will be closing now. Plans were to keep it open but it seems there's a NEW lease to deal with and scuttlebutt is the new owners aren't going to pay that overhead.
It was decorated nice inside BUT now that inventory is thinning you get a glimpse of a pole barn.
Seems like if you owned a building you would want to keep it occupied. Jacking up the rent would only cut your own throat.
Ft Wayne has really started to move things out. Not many used handguns left, while there are a couple racks of used long guns. I picked up a S&W 6946 mag for $18 today, so that was a plus, just not much left that is worth what they have on it. I picked up a S&W M&P (pre-model 10) revolver the other day, thats really nice, but that's about all I saw interesting. They had a Walther P1 sitting used today too.
