The problem that all of the talking heads keep ignoring is that, statistically, the majority of people are center. That's how bell curves work. Instead, we get blasted by misinformation that every single person is either far left or far right. It's actually my problem with how the media portrays every group: the majority of any group are sane, civil, and respectful, but the loud and violent ones get you the most clicks and ads.He's not wrong. Trump wasn't even all that conservative before he ran for president - he was conservative for a New Yorker but not on the scale of the average American. But he never had a shot at a Dem nom so he shifted his views and talking points one step right while the left was heading down the Bernie/AOC path towards overt socialism at full speed making Trump seem quite conservative by comparison. Same with Musk, he's just the most conservative of the dot-com and Silicon Valley set so he seems pretty right-leaning contrasted against the rest of them plus he thinks for himself and that's never welcomed in leftist circles!
