I'm a wood butcher.

Back in the 90's I started night school to get into the IT trade. Noticed that all the people that were good at it were kids living at home. I couldn't compete for low paying entry jobs with a family to support. In the early 2000's I went back for biz management. Learned a few things but then decided that for me it was best just to get back to what I already knew.

Both my kids went to college. One now has a bachelor's and the other a master's degree. Neither are in the field they studied for, but they learned to learn, have the sheep skin and zero debt.

I'm cool with that.
