I know that this is an older post, but with regard to Princeton, they require a personal interview as well, so dumping the SAT doesn't affect much other than make it look like they are such a wonderful equal opportunity college. The interviewer will know pretty quickly if the applicant is worth enhancing or destroying their overall graduating average.
