Another view. The thinner leaves tend to make the coolest patterns
I'd bet of I let some grass overgrow I'm the yard that it would work well also.

TheBone collector stencil was home made.
I printed the logo from a google search and taped it to more tape that I applied to wax paper. I used an exactly knife to cut thru the whole mess. 4 failed tries and 2 nice frosty Sammy octoberfests later I had a usable stencil.

Ok so I'll try to document it some. Remember I have the painting skills of a 6 yr old on a sugar rush.... Nil....
But you look 10-12 in the pics? Your parents are way cool to let you have those guns and paint them too.

I have had good luck with the same Krylon paints, I used brake cleaner to prep. Although my expectations were low, 8 years later the paint is still on the guns, waiting to be stripped and replaced with something better.
