are the 5 mags really a requirement to run pistol? will 3 suffice?

People OFTEN also just post up on here what they are shooting and usually someone has some extra mags they can bring and let you borrow for the evening.

I'll be there again with my Glock 17. I've been shooting bad ever since I changed the sights, though. Thinking about going back to the originals, or maybe the cheap Glock adjustable rear and a new front. These Ameriglo CAP sights aren't really working for me, and I don't like three dot sights...
