    Personally, I love rabbit meat, when it's properly cooked. When I was a single (divorced) custodial parent of 2 young boys.... we ate rabbit 2-3 times a week, from Oct to Feb.

    But IMHO, you can't beat pheasant. I could consume pheasant meat, seven days a week, and never get tired of it. :rockwoot:

    Rabbit but I haven't had any in a REALLY long time. The season interferes with deer hunting. :( I also can't bring myself to pay the prices they want in the grocery stores.

    I like squirrel OK though & I can hunt for those before & after deer.
