Awesome! I have done many trips into BWCA and loved every one of them. There are lots of walleyes there. Glad you enjoyed it and that is a great picture.Last week my son's scout troop was in the boundary waters in northern Minnesota. It was a good time and the boys got a trip that most men wouldn't do. They paddled over 43 miles and made 6 portages going in and 6 going out with only our last portage taking a single trip. Minimal whining from three 12 or 13 year olds and one 17 year old. The bass was 3.6# and was the first fish caught on the trip. Most Walleye were in the 19" - 20" range, and the pike in the picture was far from the largest one caught on the trip. The bushpot did a great job of frying up the fish that were battered in Krusteze pancake mix. We ate like kings. One of the other dads got the picture of my son and I paddling with the sunset behind us and I'll treasure that picture for life.

26 more fish in the freezer tonight. All nice bluegills. You know, it is weird that I LOVE all seafood, both freshwater and saltwater, EXCEPT for bluegill. No matter how it is prepared, it tastes like rust to me.

What kind of fishing you doing?I'm having a rough season. The only thing I've caught is a buzz.
