Thanks Gary, I was out for about an hour-hour and a half today to check it out. That's about all I could spare today. I appreciate the offer. I'll probably be at Riley in a couple of weeks for the steel match. I have seen your name on the roster haven't I? I am going to start getting an AR put together, I think I would really like to get into this. What other gear should I get first. I saw everyone had mats, scopes, jackets, and stools. I probably can't get it all at once, what should come first?

I know your question is for Chaney, but IMO get a quality scope and stand for yourself and also for the other shooter that you are scoring for. Stools are cheap and you have to hold your ammo and gear in something. Mats are cheap too. After that, the jacket.

    first would be gun
second would be tons of ammo because you will need to pratice alot
3rd scope stand (i got a konus scope and a ewing stand)
4th more odds and ends than can be carried

do you reload? if not i would say proper reloading equipment is the # 1 or 2 thing to pick up

Good advice from slough and 427.
I'm pretty sure I have a mat and stool around here somewhere that you can borrow. I also have a number of gloves and mitts.
What size jacket do you wear? We may be able to come up with something for the time being.
