    Unglaciated heaven
Walnut, cherry, and ? I couldn’t stand to cut up those walnuts either.
No cherry, 1 red oak butt, 2 white oak butt and a second cut . The 1 Walnut butt with 3 top logs. One Walnut log is 6', log buyer said he'll take a 6 on Walnut, so it's his.

Cherry is pretty worthless right now. I have a nice log but not worth selling. My last log sale I had a dang nice cherry. I got $0.60/' on one log and 40 on another. What sucks about cherry is it's not great burning wood.

Somebody please talk me out of buying one of these...

With the boy kid grown and 10 hours away, I am a 51 year old, one man band when it's firewood time. This seems like it would be super handy.

at 5 grand it looks like fun but a used back hoe might be able to do more work
do you have other uses for it?
you could just stay inside and turn up the thermostat for the same money
just like a new gun, why not?
    more pros and cons......

I like that it's easy on and off. Great to pick up logs for cutting at a height my back likes better. Grab bigger rounds with the grapple and set on the splitter, etc.

Plus my 4 and 2.5 year old grandsons would absolutely lose their S**T if pops bought them a toy this cool to play with. They are both obsessed with excavators.

After cutting and splitting a truckload this summer, I mentioned needing a splitter. Wife said I didn't need one. To me that sounded like she was going to split all the oak rounds I have cut. I can't do it -the maul bounces off most of them. I was wrong. I just have to work harder.

I need one of these. Of course then I'd need a skid steer...
