It wasn't a terribly expensive rod at $60ish.
Google turns up a result or two, maybe still in stock? B&M doesn't list them on their site nor do they have replacement sections for this rod.
It's a bit more of a sentimental/dumbass thing. Anyone whoever, who dropped a jig or threw float rig with a B&M pole or rod, likely understands. This specific rod has been my favorite, thus putting well over 100 pounds (maybe closer to 200?) of pan fish fillets in the freezer.
I guess it's likely karma messin' with me. I've always favored long rods, the B&M was 8'.
The last few years I've come to favor a Binn Bros 5' rod w/extremely short butt section. The short rod is a hoot for mobility and fun to load up on the cast. It would be way less friendly on the odd larger bass or catfish landing though.
I like wide faced spinning reels. I currently use a couple JM signature series by Bass Pro. Sheds on 446 use to carry B&M poles. I haven't been there in years.
