Facebook autorecognizes faces in pics and tags them

I recently added the Facebook app to my iPhone. The next time I used my phone I noticed that it had automatically added the phone numbers of everyone that I am friends with on Facebook to my contacts list. Kind of freaked me out. Also annoying as heck because now I have to sort through tons of phone numbers for people I have no intention of ever calling. Privacy is apparently an outdated concept.

My Iphone did the same thing. In contacts it lists groups,one is ICloud and the other is for my main email.(which is my FB account) I just switched from email to ICloud and all the FB contacts aren't shown.

Hellz, it's probably a good bit better than me; I failed to recognize my next door neighbor when she said hi to me at work. I had no idea who she was. This was after numerous conversations in the yard.

You can disable it for yourself so that it does not suggest you to your friends. It's buried in the privacy settings.
